Indian Cultural Heritage Foundation: Dhaara Dallas Theatre reviews
old fart recaptures youth
My husband is 41 and I am 50...though Indian Cultural Heritage Foundation: Dhaara was out during my youthful days, I was more interested in my next 'metaphysical' high (that's what we'll call it) than into new tunes. We went to our first 311 in Atlantic City, House of Blues --- absolutely fantastic. So thanks to my younger friends of today, we have been duly graced by the 311 vibe and the wonderful fans. My husband and I loved every bit of the concert -- from the band to the crowd. Not what I was expecting at all. The band was vibrant, spot on and melodic (not what you would usually get from a younger band -- heh, arent they in their 40's?) We are both hardcore fans of The Who and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and now we will definitely add 311 to our wonderful list of 'must see' shows. P.S. It was sooooo refreshing to NOT be tapped on the shoulder for dancing in front of someone -- 'cuz we were all on our feet jammin'!"
